Stories, if told, make people come alive.  In my family every recipe has a story. And since it’s widely accepted that every person has a story to share, this blog is a way to meld people—their stories through their food and drinks. Stories passed down through the generations. Recipes stored in recipe boxes that have notes jotted down on the margins. Old recipes. Old stories. New recipes. New stories. Recipes of:  Relatives. Friends. Co-workers. Strangers. People. Some I know well. Some I wish to know more about.  These are those stories.
